PLANTARIUM|GROEN-Direkt excitement builds

The PLANTARIUM|GROEN-Direkt Autumn Fair will take place in Hazerswoude-Dorp/Boskoop (The Netherlands) on 26-27 August.

The leading trade fair for buyers, retailers, wholesalers, and growers promises to go down in history as the edition with an unprecedented launch of new products in the market. With a completely redesigned entrance hall, a focus on the range of the future, and a renewed presentation of the Green Retail Awards, the fair is the essential kickoff to the autumn season.

Spectacular entrance and hundreds of new products

Visitors will be surprised as soon as they arrive at this edition. The completely redesigned entrance hall is entirely dedicated to dozens of new plants, brands, and other products. This constitutes an unprecedentedly large introduction of current trade fair news. On the exhibition floor itself, the proven success formula remains: on one side of the central aisle are hundreds of exhibitors, and on the other side are thousands of directly orderable plants via sample batches. Within this trusted layout, dozens of new exhibitors and suppliers can be found this year, presenting hundreds of new products together. The floor plan is now available online.

The 2030 product range at the Green Future Hub

What does the future hold for the green supply? At the Plantarium Green Future Hub, trade magazine Vakblad voor de Boomkwekerij pays extensive attention to the '2030 product range'. The session dives deeper into the impact of climate change, changing requirements for crop protection, and shifts in the market and consumer preferences. Which plants are at risk of disappearing, and which new ones are coming into consideration?

Masterclass and 'culinary' highlights with Michael Perry

Plant expert and influencer Michael Perry will also be fully present at this edition. Visitors can take part in an exclusive, free social media masterclass hosted by Perry (note: limited places available). In addition, he will present his personal highlights and finds from the fair in his own unique, 'culinary' way during several sessions. He will also guide visitors on inspiring tours across the trade fair floor.

New timing for Green Retail Awards and joint networking drinks

A striking change in the program is the presentation of the prestigious Green Retail Awards. At the start of the fair, the nominees for Best Novelty and Best Market Innovation will be revealed, but for the first time, the actual winners will only be announced at the end of the first day of the fair. Immediately following this exciting award ceremony, there will be a networking reception, which this year is open not only to exhibitors but also to trade visitors.

Program and registration

The extensive trade fair program will continue to be updated right up until the event. The current schedule can be found at plantariumgroendirekt.nl/bezoekers/?lang=en, where visitors can also register directly for participation in the various sessions and the masterclass.
