The former Wyevale garden centres sites at Cheddar, Dorking, Lechlade and Marlow are now in the throes of re-branding under the Hillier name following the acquisitions announced in April. The quartet brings the Hillier estate to 16 centres.
An ‘end of stock clearance’ promotion on discontinuing lines will kick off the transformation process pending the arrival of new Hillier ranges in the autumn.
Hillier says the centres are looking forward to becoming part of their local communities, sharing the company’s passion for plants, offering gardening expertise and becoming a friendly destination for people to meet, eat and be inspired.
Chris Francis, Hillier’s garden centre and wholesale nurseries director, said he was delighted with the additions. “They are all really impressive destinations in the south of England, just like our existing centres, so we feel they are a great fit. We are looking forward to getting to know the local gardening communities and inspiring them with our great range of quality plants and Hillier expertise. It is very exciting times ahead!”
The centres officially became part of Hillier on 26 June.
