Greenfingers Trustee and CEO of The HTA, Carol Paris has recruited 10 “Santa’s Helpers” to join her in the 2014 Santa Run to raise money for Greenfingers.

Keen runner Carol told GTN Xtra “What a great idea to link into the Santa theme that will be generating so much business for garden centres, but this time to raise money for our industry charity.”

Adam Wigglesworth, Paul Ormond,  Pat Adams, Chris Ramsden, Gary Carvosso, Gary's wife, Andrew Burton, John Moseley, Craig Hall and Tara Ballinger have all signed up to run with Carol.

"Clearly, I'm a Gluten for punishment, hohoho," joked Andrew Burton, while Craig Hall stated: "I might as well shed some extra weight pre-Xmas."

Pat Adams said: "You are making me feel very ‘lazy’ but I don’t think my ‘old’ knees will take the 10K -  will have to see how my training goes." And apparently John Moseley siad the drinks are him.

The Santa Run 2014 takes place at Victoria Park in London on Sunday 7^th December. The run has options of 5k or 10k.
