With plant sales booming, the GTN Bestsellers Garden Products chart shows signs that customers are buying growing aids as they buy their plants, but we didn’t see the same uplift as plants year on year.
Our Garden Products Top 50 sales volumes were up by 197% less than half the uplift of plant sales. Perhaps the need to get more growing aids merchandised along side the relevant plants is still a driver for potential growth.
Highlights of the week were:
Tomorite jumped two places to be the No 1 Bestseller at the start of March. That’s the earliest we can remember Tomorite moving to the top of the chart!
Westland Fish Blood & Bone 1.5kg was the highest chart climber, up 20 places to No 14.
Garland’s Windowsill Greenhouse was the highest new entry at No 34.
