Hillier Nurseries honoured with Royal Warrant

Hillier Nurseries Ltd, one of the UK’s leading horticultural businesses, is among the companies to have been granted a Royal Warrant by His Majesty King Charles III.

This prestigious recognition cements the company's long-standing relationship with the Royal Household, marking another milestone in a 160-year history.

George Hillier, Chairman of Hillier Nurseries, expressed the company’s deep pride in the recognition: ‘Receiving the Royal Warrant of His Majesty King Charles III is an extraordinary honour for Hillier. Our association with the Royal Warrant began in 1935, when we were first graced with this prestigious recognition by HRH The Prince of Wales.

Over the decades, we have been privileged to hold Royal Warrants for both The Queen Mother and Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This legacy is one we hold in the highest regard. To continue this tradition under the warrant of His Majesty The King is a profound privilege and a source of immense pride for Hillier. The recognition of our efforts through the Royal Warrant inspires us to further our mission of preserving and enhancing the beauty of the natural world for generations to come.’

Hillier has long been committed to sustainable practices, biodiversity, and promoting environmental priorities. His Majesty's own dedication to these causes resonates deeply with Hillier's ongoing mission to create greener living spaces for now and the future.

The Hillier team of growers work tirelessly to grow a diverse range of high-quality plants, shrubs, and trees, many of which have contributed to the company’s reputation as a trusted supplier to gardeners, landscapers, and businesses across the country. The nursery’s continued commitment to excellence, quality, and sustainability ensures that it remains at the forefront of the industry, making the Royal Warrant a fitting recognition of their longstanding contributions to both the industry and the environment.
