Re-booking opens for HTA National Plant Show 2025

Following a successful show, the HTA has announced that next year’s HTA National Plant Show will take place from Wednesday 18 to Thursday 19 June 2025 at NAEC Stoneleigh.

The 2024 event welcomed over a thousand visitors and saw over 248 stands presenting more than 157 companies' products to potential customers across both halls. The event provided businesses with an opportunity to showcase everything from seeds, bulbs, house plants and a wide range of garden plants to labelling and product information, growing media, display benching and machinery.

New plant award winners 2024

The Bransford Webbs Plant Company’s Digitalis purpurea Apple Blossom was recognised as Best in Show at the New Plant Awards, sponsored by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). Farplants Sales Ltd - Spiraea WALBERTON’S® PLUM took home the Visitor Vote, sponsored by Floramedia.

Seminars

Attendees heard from industry professionals on key topics in horticulture, including the new Plant Awards Announcement, Automation in Horticulture - hosted by Dura-ID, and Growing Your Team - hosted by MorePeople. HTA's Director of Research and Insights, David Denny, spoke about sustainability for gardeners and the wider horticultural industry, plus there were networking events for Women in Horticulture and the YPHA. The programme also included key topics in the run-up to the general elections, including advice for HTA members from the HTA’s Jennifer Pheasey and David Lydiat in engaging with prospective parliamentary candidates. There was an honest panel discussion on the current issues with Trade and Borders and a practical session presented by HTA's Wayne Brough and RHS's Raghavendra Prasad for Growing Media: Life Beyond Peat.

Thank you to the HTA members Whetman Garden Plants, Beaver Plants Ltd and Pentland Plants Ltd who donated the plants from their National Plant Show stands to South Lodge Care Home, London Road, Leicester.

Elia Johnston, HTA Director of Marketing said: “This year’s show was a huge success; the halls were buzzing with activity and we’ve had some fantastic feedback so far. A key platform for business-to-business interactions, the event is an important opportunity in the horticultural calendar to showcase the latest plants and innovations. I’d encourage new and existing exhibitors to plan for next year and join us for two days of networking, learning, and inspiration at the HTA National Plant Show 2025.”

Current Exhibitors can rebook now for National Plant Show 2025 for an exclusive discounted rate which is only available until 22 July 2024.
