Plant sales have got off to a supercharged start of the year.GTN Bestsellers Total Plant Sales index shows sales up by 13% on last year and 36% on 2018 early year levels.
Highlights of the week were:
Primula sales almost doubled as they dominated at No 1.
Coprosma were a high placed re-entry at No 7.
Indigofera was a surprise new entry at No 10 with Indigofera himalayensis ‘Silk Road’ 3L the biggest contributor.
All Plants volume sales change: Week on week UP 67.2%.Year to date vs 2019 UP 13.1%, vs2018 UP35.7%.
