Tong GC to host gardening masterclass with TV gardener

Renowned gardening expert and TV presenter, David Domoney will be in The Mezzanine at Tong Garden Centre on Saturday, 26th April to share his expertise for creating vibrant,  successful gardens that thrive and reward all year round.

"Whether you're new to gardening or an experienced gardener, this masterclass is the perfect chance to pick up hints, tips and advice that will help transform your outdoor and indoor spaces, " said RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal winner, Domoney.

"I will guide the audience through the essentials of gardening and inspire them to create fabulous gardens, whatever the size of their space, plus there will be a question and answer session for specific queries. I'm really looking forward to my first visit to Tong Garden Centre."

"David is well known for his extensive knowledge and passion for all things horticultural. As a Fellow of multiple prestigious horticultural societies and a multiple RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal winner, David has established himself as a leading figure in the world of gardening. His television appearances on ITV's Love Your Garden, Love Your Weekend, and This Morning have earned him a reputation for making gardening fun, approachable and exciting for everyone. We're looking forward to welcoming him to Tong," said Commercial Plant Manager, Marc Salama.

Tickets for the event, which is sponsored by Miracle Gro, cost £10 and include complimentary refreshments on arrival and a free full size Miracle Gro Pour & Feed worth £4.99. There is also the option to buy a £15 ticket that will include a signed copy of Domoney's latest book "Houseplants Changed My Life." The event runs from 9.45 am to 11 am.

Tong Garden Centre occupies a 19-acre site in Tong village. It is one of Yorkshire's biggest independent garden centres with 11,600m2 of retail space and parking for up to 700 cars. It is part of the Yorkshire Garden Centres (YGC) family that also owns Tingley, Otley, Bingley, York, Scarborough and Pennine Garden Centres.
