Summer flowering plants made the headlines in the first week of July. There were sizeable increases for Astilbe, Tagetes, Erigeron, Helianthus and Gazania.
Astilbe climbed 21 places up the GTN Chart to No 10.
Tagetes were one place behind at No 11.
Erigeron moved up 15 places to No 21.
Helianthus grew 18 places up to No 25.
Gazanias were a re-entry at No 38.
All Plants volume sales change: Week on week DOWN 7.2%. Year to date vs 2018 DOWN 6.1%, vs 2017 UP 2.2%.
