Russell Kane to host GIMA Awards

Comedian Russell Kane, winner of the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award, will be the celebrity host of this year’s GIMA Awards. A regular on both Radio and TV panel shows, Russell has appeared on ITV's Celebrity Juice, BBC Two's Mock the Week, The Apprentice: You're Fired, Sky Atlantic's Set List, Morgan Spurlock's New Britannia, Channel 4's 8 Out of 10 Cats. He is also a frequent guest on The Wright Stuff, BBC Radio 4's It’s Your Round, Just a Minute, A Good Read and ITV2's Britain’s Got More Talent. Rounding off the evening’s entertainment will be Angelo Starr and The Team. This award winning soul band, featuring the brother of the late great Edwin Starr, will have everyone on their feet dancing well into the early hours. This year’s awards evening is being held at the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport South Wales on Thursday 17th July and is lining up to be a night to remember.
