Onions set the pace in Veg-2-Gro Bestsellers
Sales of onions really set the pace for Veg-2-Gro sales this week in the GTN Bestsellers chart.
Eight of the Top 10 lines were Taylors onion sets, garlic or shallot varieties and those volume increases helped drive total Top 50 volumes up 40% on last week and to 13% up year on year.
Some of the star performers this week include:
- Taylors Shallots Golden Gourmet are the highest chart climber, up 25 places to No 7.
- Mr Fothergills Pea Kelvedon Wonder is this week’s highest new chart entry at No 14.
- Thompson & Morgan Carrot Resistafly F1 Hybrid is the highest placed chart re-entry at No 11.
