Gardman save the day as garden centre is let down on Chapelwood delivery

Gardman have stepped in with a delivery late on Friday afternoon to replenish shelves left empty after Baytree Garden Centre were told they would not get their expected delivery of Chapelwood wild bird care products.

GTN Xtra visited Baytree on Friday and noticed that shelves normally filled with bags of Chapelwood wild bird food were empty.

"We were expecting an order of 5 pallets yesterday," General Manager Nigel Wallis told GTN Xtra, "and have now been told there will not be a delivery of Chapelwood products at all this week.  Fortunately Gardman have stepped up to the plate and we have a delivery coming in from them this afternoon."

Baytree switched to Chapelwood for wIld bird care three years ago.  "We've been very pleased with the sales and products of the Chapelwood range," Nigel continued, "but this event now makes our decisions about who we go with for the rest of this year very easy to make."
