Taylors Bulbs have jumped on the success of The Great British Bake Off and the popularity of container gardening by using names of cakes for their unique “Containers of Colour” bulb packs.

Lemon Drizzle, Iced Bun, French Fancy, Carrot Cake, Fruit Cake and Madeira are the names of pre-packed bulb collections ideal for planting in pots, troughs and baskets.

“Ideally they will be sold alongside suitable pots, even as a linked sale with bulb fibre” Adam Taylor told GTN Bestsellers as the 2014 Garden Radio Taylors Bulb campaign was recorded last week.  “These packs could also make great gift ideas and we hope garden centres have some fun with the Bake Off theme”
