Nursery steps up UK sales drive with young plants push

Pistoia-based Innocenti  & Mangoni is stepping up its sales drive in the UK following major investment in production facilities for young plants.

Since 2016, the nursery has been producing a range of a young plants in 9 cm, 10 x 12 cm, and 13 cm pots.

It embraces traditional varieties and numerous novelties, made possible through the acquisition of dozens of plant breeding licences from the International breeder sector, including Breederplants, Genesis, Plantipp, Sapho and Vip For Plants.

They are currently producing more than 80 patented varieties, having enhanced their growing techniques to ensure high quality plants are available for the spring 2019 season.

The substantial renovation programme in their production facilities. has imnvolved the construction of new greenhouses and shadehouses.

A major presence is planned for the Four Oaks trade show (3-4 September) were they will promote 'Young Plants' as an extension to their established specimen plants and trees.
