A celebration of one of the nation’s favourite blooms runs until Tuesday (11 July) at one of the north-west’s most beautiful garden centres.
For its first ever Rose Festival, Lady Green Garden Centre at Ince Blundell has become a sea of roses, with a huge selection of varieties on display including fragrant climbers, shrub roses and rose arches.
Visitors are being ‘wowed’ by the stunning displays and new rose garden created in the outdoor plant area. There are opportunities to enjoy new and limited edition varieties, including the 2018 Rose of the Year.
On Tuesday there is a Rose Talk and Afternoon Tea with David Austin Roses (tickets £15).
More than 250 people attended a preview evening with live music, refreshments and a garden tour for the Klondyke group’s Grow Rewards members.
