Taylors Maris Peer back to No 1
 

‘Tis the season for Christmas spuds.  As soon as the Autumn planting seed potatoes from Taylors Bulbs reached the shelves last week they started selling through in higher volumes than any other Veg-2-Gro line to claim all three top spots in the GTN chart. 

  • Maris Peer proved the most popular variety to sell through first this year.
  • Duke of York came in at No 2 with Charlotte at No 3.
  • Pentland Javelin, normally the autumn favourite re-entered the chart at No 17.
