HEX Living Charity Golf Day raises £7,000 for MIND

HEX Living, the UK's leading outdoor storage and garden furniture manufacturer, held its second charity golf day on September 5th at the iconic JCB Golf and Country Club in Staffordshire.

This year's event had an incredible turnout, attracting 40 golfers from organisations across the outdoor living and leisure Industry.

JCB Golf and Country Club, which recently played host to LIV Golf UK, was the perfect venue. The day began with breakfast in the Champions Lounge, before golfers started the 18-hole individual Stableford competition, with the winner taking home a luxury food and drink hamper worth over £250.00.

Prizes were also up for grabs for Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin, and Beat the Pro, which ran throughout the day.

The event continued into the evening with a drink's reception and three-course dinner, followed by a prize-giving presentation, charity auction and raffle, with prizes including a signed football shirt and a 5-night all-inclusive holiday in Corfu.

In total, the day raised more than £7,000 for MIND North Staffs, helping them to continue to provide mental health services across the Staffordshire region.

Paul Clews, Managing Director of HEX Living, said: "The golf day was a fantastic event allowing HEX Living staff, customers, and contacts to come together and enjoy a round of golf, all while raising money for an amazing cause. A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped us raise £7,000—what a resounding success."

Steve Channon, Corporate Engagement Lead for MIND North Staffs, commented: "I want to thank HEX Living for organising this incredible day and all the businesses who supported it. What an amazing amount of money was raised; we are truly grateful for it.

North Staffs MIND has been supporting the mental wellbeing of local people for almost 50 years. We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect."
