Smart Solar has acquired the garden products supplier Greentree for an undisclosed sum and appointed its founder MD Gary Ackers in a new role of Commercial Director.
Gary, who built the successful Greentree business in just four years, has been in the garden trade for 12 years.
He brings a wealth of experience in purchasing, planning and supply chain management that will support the growth plans of Smart Solar.
Gary will be managing the integration of the Greentree business but will also have responsibility for the entire supply chain and purchasing team.
Says Gary: “This is a great opportunity for me to join a company that has ambitious plans for the future. I am looking forward to playing my part in the executive management team that is leading Smart Solar’s development.”
