Kettler GB invests £2m in warehouse to streamline distribution

Kettler GB has invested £2 million to streamline distribution following growth of 15% last year and 20% this.

A new 3,000 sq.m. distribution centre at Redditch will enable stock of its garden furniture and Heston Blumenthal barbecues, currently housed in multiple warehouses,  to be consolidated more efficiently under one roof.

The new building, which will be 18m high, will double the size of its operations at Redditch when completed in October.

Managing director Paul Bevington, said it was essential to invest in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility to ensure the company could continue to meet customer demand by improving logistics and delivery speed.

Kettler  GB, a separate entity unaffected when the rest of the group became insolvent four years ago, is now owned by a charitable foundation that supports disabled athletes.
