A bumper week of growing media sales at the start of June has reduced the year on year deficit to less than 4% now as top soil and bark products increased sales week on week while compost sales dropped.
Highlights in the chart this week were:
Scotts Miracle-Gro Organic Choice Premium Garden Soil, 25 litres, increased sales by 4% and moved up to No 3.
Scotts Levington Essential Top Soil, 35 litres, was the highest re-entry at No 36.
Westland Top Soil (Value Bag), 35 litres, moved up seven places to No 7.
Westland Landscape Bark, 100 litres, moved up nine places with a 5% sales increase.
Westland Decorative Mini Bark, 100 litres, was the highest new entry.
