Allensmore receive Klondyke’s Plant Supplier of the Year Award

Congratulations to Allensmore Nurseries who were recently voted as the Klondyke Group’s Plant Supplier of the Year for 2020.

The award was announced at Klondyke’s recent virtual Plant Conference, which was attended by the Group’s 22 Plant and Garden Centre Managers and Horticultural Buying Team.

The online conference gave the perfect opportunity to plan and discuss stock for the 2021 season by bringing them together with many of the best from the UK plant supply chain; via video tours and updates.

Klondyke Buyer Jo Cooke commented “The Klondyke Plant Supplier of the Year award is voted for by the garden centre plant managers. It recognises suppliers who perform consistently well throughout the year, with regard to both their stock quality and ease of ordering.

In the exceptionally difficult season of 2020, Allensmore worked incredibly hard to keep our centres supplied with fresh, colourful, home grown herbaceous product. Their relationship between their sales staff and the centres is superb and the plant quality is reliably good.

We look forward to further building sales with Allensmore as we move into 2021 and are very glad of the opportunity to recognise and thank them for all their hard work.”

Will Thomas of Allensmore added “All of the staff at Allensmore Nurseries were delighted to receive the Supplier of the Year award from Klondyke/Strikes.

Being family run ourselves it’s great working with a business that also has a strong family setup. Over recent years we’ve worked closely with the great team at Klondyke to develop our range and hope to continue to grow with them for many years to come.”
