Armitage's gets ready to welcome Tour de France
Armitage's Home & Garden near Huddersfield is getting ready for an invasion of cycling fans as the Tour de France passes by on Sunday. Will Armitage has even allowing a field to be used as a spectator car park during the stage and will be offering fans a BBQ.
"It's going to be an exciting time and we've planning for it for quite a while," said Will. "I'm not sure whether the garden centre will be busy or not but our staff will be getting in early.
"It's great for the local area to have such a prestigious event. One of my fields will be used as a car park and I will be cooking food for spectators on the BBQ."
