MorePeople win Team of the Year at FPC Fresh Awards

MorePeople has won Team of the Year 2023 at the FPC Fresh Awards held at the Marriott Grosvenor Hotel in London.

The Fresh Awards celebrate everyone in fresh produce and related sectors. Our CEO Andrew Fitzmaurice and Marketing & Communications Manager Natalie Smith were in attendance alongside eight other members of the MorePeople team representing our various business functions.

The Judges commented: "The team's dedication to building industry relationships and fostering a supportive work environment so everyone can succeed is truly deserving of this award."

Andrew Fitzmaurice, CEO, said: "To win the Fresh Awards Team of the Year is an incredible feeling. It’s an even sweeter feeling knowing that it’s an award chosen by a panel of industry experts.

We’re rightly proud of our team and the massive strides forward we have made over the past year, but, given the quality of the entrants in this category, we really weren’t expecting to win (our reactions and preparedness when the announcement was made on the night said it all).

We couldn’t win these awards without a great team who are all committed to what they do. Thanks to every single one of my team.”

Richard Hanwell, Managing Director, continued: "It’s amazing for the team as they deserve all the accolades. Culture is born out of teamwork and collaboration and they have demonstrated this endlessly throughout the last 12 months and beyond. It’s even more rewarding given that it comes from the industry that we strive so hard to support."

On behalf of MorePeople we'd like to congratulate all of the other nominees and thank the FPC for a great night.
