Poultry specialist easichick launches bumper bedding bale

One of the UK’s favourite poultry beddings, easichick, is now available in a 20kg bale.  This new bale compliments the existing 10kg product and is ideal for larger domestic users and small holders for whom it provides economy of scale and reduces the amount of packaging used.

easichick boasts a unique treatment technology which guarantees that every bale is free from harmful bacteria, moulds and spores that can affect customers’ birds.  This is now particularly important due to the rapid increase in Avian Flu and the legal requirement for all bird keepers to keep their flock indoors or netted while also taking additional biosecurity measures.

Commenting on the launch, easichick’s Marketing Manager, Emma Hudson, said: “Following requests from many of our customers, we are now pleased to offer our award winning easichick product in a larger 20kg bale.  This provides a highly cost effective and environmentally sustainable bedding option for customers with larger aviaries and coops. Obviously easichick was designed for use with chickens but is also now used widely for pigeons, parrots, finches and other small birds.”

The easi range of animal beddings are all made from recycled clean wood making them highly environmentally sustainable. Once used, the beddings’ Organic Farmers & Growers accreditation means it can be used on gardens or farmland as a soil enhancer.

Every easichick bale comes with a free token which can be collected and redeemed against a collection of exclusive easi bedding merchandise including fleeces, jackets and travel mugs.

Enva operates seven wood recycling facilities across the UK. The wood is processed and manufactured into a range of sustainable recycled products including the company’s flagship range of animal beddings – easibed our award-winning horse bdding, easichick for birds and easicattle for dairy farmers.
