STV aims for 10 million

STV is on track to sell over 10 million units of pest control products a year thanks to a dynamic marketing strategy that has built the winning combination of keen opening price points and value-added products into key ranges including The Big Cheese. “The only way is up!” says STV managing director Edwin Allingham. “We’ve enjoyed tremendous growth in the past few years, with particularly strong sales coming through good quality independent garden and hardware outlets. “In 2016 we‘re rolling out the new-look Ultra Power range under The Big Cheese and we’re confident this will take branded sales to the next level.” Ultra Power products feature a money-back warranty on pack with an assurance of “Quick Results – Guaranteed” that encourages end-users to trade up. Ultra Power trap sales alone grew by 74% in 2015, and with the addition of fast acting baits and bait stations, as well as electronic traps and repellents, STV believes this apex range is set fair for further strong growth next year. The rollout kicked off at Glee where retailers gave the new livery and product variants a unanimous thumbs up. STV is building distribution through selected wholesalers and cash and carries nationally and the range will be on show at regional trade fairs throughout the UK this Autumn.
