Garden lighting products blown off course

Garden lighting sales have been blown off course this week with sales volumes in the GTN Bestsellers chart down 46% on the same week last year, causing another dip in the Top 50 garden products sales index.

Are Christmas lighting display shining brighter this year to deflect sales or is it just the inclement weather?

This week's highlights were:

  • Pruning is a high sales driver with Gripsnipz Mini Cutting Tool Orange re-entering at No 5..
  • The high winds prompted plenty of tree related sales: Gardman Heavy Duty Tree Ties 30cm moved up 22 places to No 16.
  • Pots continue to move: Apta’s Small Roll Top Planter is the highest new entry at No 32.
