The Serge Hill Project launches its first ever Summer Online Auction

The Serge Hill Project for Gardening, Creativity and Health has laucnhed the first ever Summer Online Auction in aid of its work with schools, community groups and mental health charities.

The auction is now live and your help in spreading the word and sharing the link with potential bidders would be greatly appreciated.

In the 12 months since the project opened over 500 children have visited The Serge Hill Project at Bedmond, Hertfordshire, and they have launched their first Gardening for Health group for people recovering from cancer treatment. All profits raised from the auction will go directly to expanding and developing these programmes to reach more people, especially those who would otherwise not have access to nature.

Three internationally acclaimed artists - Edmund de Waal, Romilly Saumarez Smith and Adam Lowe of Factum Foundation - have generously chosen to donate exquisite artworks to the auction. In addition, Tom and Sue Stuart-Smith are hosting an exclusive Group Tour for 8 around The Barn Garden and The Plant Library.

The auction site is now open for bids and donations at https://uk.givergy.com/SummerOnlineAuction2025 until 2359H on Wednesday, 16th July 2025.
