Notcutts adds 300-seater restaurant at Ditchling

Notcutts has opened the group’s largest restaurant – a 300-seater at its Garden Pride  outlet in Ditchling, East Sussex.

The new eatery, part of an extensive refurbishment across the site, has comfortable seating and views across the South Downs, plus a south-facing alfresco terrace seating a further 80 people. There is also a new outdoor children’s play area.

Other refurbishments include an improved layout with upgraded flooring, lighting and roofing, added Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Cotton Traders concessions (joining the Procook, Pets Corner and GBC businesses already on site), and a 1000 sq.m. vented plant canopy that doubles the size of the protected outdoor area.

An official opening is planned for the spring.
