British Garden Centres to make debut at RHS Hampton and Wentworth

Following on from another extremely successful show at BBC Gardeners' World Live, British Garden Centres is excited to announce that it will be exhibiting for the very first time at not one, but two more gardening events this July, at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival (1 - 6 July 2025) and the inaugural RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse (16 - 20 July 2025).

The stands at both shows have been designed to be a true one-stop shop for gardening enthusiasts, offering an inspiring space for both seasoned gardeners and newcomers visiting the event.   There will be a wide selection of plants, including classic seasonal favourites and more specialist varieties that will appeal to a broad range of gardening tastes and needs, making it easy for anyone to find take-home ideas for their own outdoor spaces.

In addition to plants, the British Garden Centres stand will be showcasing a variety of garden sundries and its exclusive Fern Living brand of outdoor furniture. The goal is to provide visitors with everything they need to create or enhance their gardens, all in one convenient location at the shows.

Both stands will be manned by knowledgeable staff members, ready to offer expert advice and guidance on any garden situation, whether it be plant care, garden design, or specific gardening challenges, the team will be on hand to help.

Both RHS flower shows will bring world-class horticultural displays, show gardens, floral marquees, plant shopping, expert talks, and hands-on family activities, all set within the estates’ historic gardens.

Amy Stubbs, Project & Development Manager at British Garden Centres, said: “We are thrilled to be making our debut at these two fantastic events and increasing awareness of the British Garden Centres brand. There’s a special energy at garden festivals, and we’re looking forward to sharing our passion for plants and offering helpful advice to visitors. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with the gardening community and hopefully inspire some new ideas at these RHS shows.”

British Garden Centres (BGC) is the UK’s largest family-owned garden centre group with 73 centres around the country. The group is owned and led by the Stubbs family, who also own and operate Woodthorpe Leisure Park in Lincolnshire.

BGC was launched in 1990 with the opening of Woodthorpe Garden Centre by brothers Charles and Robert Stubbs. Since 2018, it has expanded rapidly with the acquisition of 50 garden centres, allowing it to grow from its heartland to the business it is now, with 73 garden centres spread from Carmarthen to Ramsgate, Wimborne to East Durham.

The group has a team of 3000 colleagues working across the garden centres, restaurants, growing nurseries, distribution centres, Woodthorpe Leisure Park, and Woody’s Restaurant & Bar.
