Poinsettias are the highest climber in Bestselling Plants chart
Plant sales dropped significantly last week and were down on last year by 10% even though gardening activity, as measured by our Garden Products and Growing Media charts, was up.
The decrease versus last year is pretty much across the board, even for houseplants too.
Poinsettias were the highest climber but volumes were 16% down on the same week last year.
Viola sales trend year on year with volumes up by 82% to hold their position at No 4.
Brassica plants for veg gardening were the highest re-entry at No 22.
