Our client is a garden centre group who are looking for candidates for their garden shop department. They are looking for customer facing retailers who have experiences in selling garden care products, seeds, garden tools etc. Someone who are a step above the average and can demonstrate strength in the following;
- Service - able to sell through service and demonstrate to the team how to do this.
- People - great at developing a team, leading by example and holding the team accountable.
- Process - able to get to grips quickly with process, understand them, follow to the letter and coach on them.
- Standards - able to live and breed leading standards, not accepting second best and challenging the team to deliver the best they can.
- Planning - someone who can plan and think what is needed to be achieved / delivered tomorrow, next week etc. not just living for the day.
- Task - someone who is happy to be hands on but not to do the work of the team for them.
They are open to the background and experience of the candidate but would like to see candidates coming from a volume Retail background, perhaps Supermarkets, DIY etc.
