Three intruders were arrested after an early-hours break-in at Blue Diamond’s Sanders Garden Centre at Brent Knoll last week.
The men, aged between 23 and 29, were arrested at 1.30am near the centre shortly after the break-in.
CCTV cameras captured footage of the trio forcing their way into the garden centre grounds shortly before security staff alerted police.
The trio were released pending while police enquiries continue.
A spokesman for Sanders told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were notified by our security monitoring control room that three intruders had been seen entering the site at 1.40am.
”The police were alerted and attended the site with dog handlers and our control room directed them towards the intruders.
“After attempting to flee on foot, the police helicopter was called in for assistance and all three were apprehended and arrested.
The spokesman added: “This incident highlights the effectiveness of our 24-hour CCTV security monitoring facility along with the prompt and clinical way in which it was dealt with by our local police.”
