Getting ready for Garden Re-Leaf Day...March 18
The gardening season starts officially on Garden Re-Leaf Day – Friday, March 18 – according to Greenfingers charity, whose supporters are staging events and promotions around the country to encourage British gardeners to visit garden centres, buy plants and generally get gardening.
Richard Jackson (centre) and his suppliers will raise funds on his QVC TV programme, Dennis Espley (left) will run a Plant-athon at his Squire’s Garden Centres starting in Badshot Lea before moving onto Twickenham, and Boyd Douglas-Davies (right) will run a similar 24-hour mammoth planting at his Studley Garden Centre.
