Lights and lawns take the spotlight
Grass seed, lawn dressings and garden lighting were the gardening lines that saw the biggest increases during he first week of Easter trading 2017.
Lawn care lines increased sales by 35% and lighting lines grew by 3% to account for over a quarter of all Top 50 Bestselling volume sales.
The highlights were:
- Gardman Nickel Solar Marker Light was the highest climber, jumping 26 places to No 4.
- Johnsons General Purpose Grass Seed + 25% Free 625g was the highest re-entry at No 30.
