Good month for growing media sales
Ok, so the weather has turned and with it growing media sales start to drop off at a fast rate. However, November growing media sales were up by 8% on last year according to the GTN Bestsellers Top 50 charts.
It has been a great year for people getting out and getting growing. Let’s hope 2017 brings more good cheer!
The main highlights were:
- Arthur Bowers Chunky Chip Bark (70 litres) was the highest climber, jumping 29 places to No 16.
- Westland Bulb Planting Compost (20 litres) was the highest re-entry at No 22.
- Scotts Miracle-Gro Peat Free All Purpose Compost (50 litres) was the highest new entry at No 28.
- Scotts Levington Multipurpose + John Innes (56 litres) retained the top spot.
