Fledgling business Wheelie Klips will be at Glee this week to showcase to garden market buyers its solutions for keeping domestic wheelie bins clean and fresh.
The system, designed by directors Mike and Matt Deacon (both experienced engineers) comprises bags, clips for securing them and a fragrance spray.
Klip Bags are heavy duty plastic bin bags that neatly fit into 120-litre, 180-litre and 240- litre Wheelie Bins.
Klip ‘n’ Bag plastic clips secure the bag to the bin.
Klip ‘n’ Fresh combines a zesty fragrance pump-action spray with Klip ‘n’ Bag clips.
Klip ‘n’ Spray is a refill spray.
Informative floor-standing display units are available and the company says it will work with stockists on ways to maximise sales.
The products are unique with no direct competition and opportunities identified include target consumers such as:
- Young Families with babies (disposable nappies)
- Families/single people who often have take-away food (dirty food packaging).
- Pet owners (cat litter trays etc).
- Home owners who look after their bins (stored in lockable garden). Responsible DIY gardeners (who take grass cuttings and pruning to their local cycling facility).
Wheelie Klips clips are re-usable and recyclable and the bags are made from recyclable material.
