BHETA to host webinar with B&Q

BHETA is to host a webinar with B&Q, focusing on the scale and strength of B&Q as one of the UK’s leading Home, DIY and Garden retailers. Within that context there will be a focus on how the B&Q Marketplace is becoming an increasingly important route to growth for brands and sellers. The BHETA event takes place on 7th May at 11:00 am.

The session will explore what sets B&Q apart, where growth is happening, and the role of high-intent traffic, Click + Collect, retail media and key trading events. It will also highlight how the Marketplace is expanding the B&Q offer, creating new opportunities across both core and complementary categories.

During the webinar, Lucas Christiano, Strategic Partnership Lead at B&Q, will outline how straightforward it is to get started on the marketplace and how existing sellers can further optimise their performance.  He will share key onboarding steps for new partners, as well as practical best practice advice for Home, DIY and Garden businesses looking to grow efficiently.

B&Q is Kingfisher’s core UK home-improvement and garden-living retail banner, operating an omnichannel model that links a large store estate with diy.com, TradePoint and a fast-scaling marketplace. The business has over 300 UK & Ireland stores, more than 21,000 colleagues, and reaches more than 20 million customers annually, with TradePoint counters in around 200 stores for professional tradespeople. Marketplace is now a growth engine: launched in 2022, features 2,000+ sellers and 2M+ products, driving 45% of B&Q’s e-commerce sales (2025/26). With £1bn+ GMV since launch and 44% annual growth, it connects brands to a rapidly expanding audience.

Steve Edwards, BHETA’s Sector Manager (DIY & Gardening), commented: “It’s well worth taking an hour for this webinar to understand B&Q’s position in the market, and how B&Q is tackling e-commerce. I’d really encourage BHETA members to join us on 7th May.”
