Dobbies states net loss of £5.2m after reporting pre tax loss of £130.8m

Dobbies Garden Centres has revealed that the group had experienced extremely difficult trading conditions during its last financial accounting period, sustaining a net loss of £5.2m after reporting a pre-tax loss of £130.8m.  It blamed unseasonal weather in the peak Spring/Summer period, which was exacerbated by macro-economic head winds stemming from the war in Ukraine, inflation, and the cost-of-living crisis...

Busy Bee and Southwood Farm jump up the Greatest Awards customer vote charts. Cooks are still No 1 with 10 days of voting still to go

As the 102 judging visits come to an end, customer voting for The Greatest Christmas Garden Centre Teams continues a pace with over 12,000 votes having now been made.

 

At the top of the Christmas Greatness Voting chart, Cooks of Stourport hold onto their lead, but Busy Bee on the Isle of Wight are hard on their heels climbing up the chart last week to No 2 and Southwood Garden Centre in Cottingham have jumped from No 20 up to No 14.
